The folks over at The Wooden Nickel here in Stillwater recently celebrated their Grand Re-Opening! They came to us a while back and asked us to create a business hours sign for them. Here's the little bit of awesome we came up with.  It's a 9"x12" piece of solid brass that is 1/4" thick.   It was designed by us, then engraved and oxidized so the letters would stand out. We then added the brush finish and a few sealing coats of lacquer.  The first photo is the sign freshly finished in our shop, the second is the sign hanging at its new home outside the front door of The Wooden Nickel.
